The slide was rocky last year, but sandy this year

The memories will have to last until next year!!!
Hey guys, when are we seeing some footage from the onewheeldrive crew?:ddog
Sorry, I've been behind the 8-ball on the edits hoping to get time this weekend. I've finished a rough cut, but it needs to be scored and paired down. It's about 10 minutes long right now.
Simon just posted on DSBC and said his bike is a write off :huh
Yes . . . sad but true. My baby is off to the scrap yard!
Wow, it didn't look that bad.:huh Any idea what scrap yard its off to? (I tweaked my left fork stanchion during my rock wall altercation.)
Yeah, I guess there was some damage that was not visible. I've contacted the insurance company to see if its possible to buy the remains of the bike. We'll see what they say.
A few more photos from the ride
Bruised and battered but up and running again.
That's the adventurer spirit!!!
I've actually bought the bike back from the insurance company as I wanted a spare set of wheels (one for roads tires, one for knobbies). Plus, I'd put a new rear tire on the damn thing two days before crashing it! Once I get the bike back and the wheels off, I'll be posting the rest of the bike in the Flea Market. Mechanically, its still in very good shape so will be a good deal for anyone looking for lots of spare parts for a 2008 / 2009 GSA. I'm going to try and sell it as a whole rather than stripping it down and selling off the parts individually. I just don't have the time or the mechanical aptitude to do that. However, for someone good with a wrench, they could probably buy the bike, dismantle it, sell of the parts and made a tidy profit. I'll let everyone know when it goes into the Flea Market.
If any one is interested some Big Trailie 3 photos, http://picasaweb.google.ca/lineman888/BigTrailie3?feat=directlink

Well, it's a video. Not quite what I would hope as we never managed to integrate with the other groups participating on the ride until the last day - hopefully next year's will go better. Was a great time once we managed to ride with some folks.
Thanks to all!
I think you did a great job on the video! Only wish you could have caught me tumbling down the embankment in glorious HD! Perhaps next year?
No more tumbling. Tumbling is bad! LOL
Thanks, next time I'll try to be a bit more outgoing and get in with some other ride groups. Very different from shooting the reviews - LOL.
Enjoyed the video!
Especially liked the shot of the mud puddle showing the reflection of the orange KTM before it rides through it. That's a cool shot...
Where's the pictures of the kangaroo's? Looks like a great ride, again. Thanks for all the pics everyone.
What he said. Did you have a camcorder and a helmet cam? What model helmet cam?
Great video !!
