    kdt,

I'm gonna take a shot in the dark here, but copy the URL or IMG line under the photo you want to post and then return to the 'Reply to Thread' box, put the cursor where you want the photo to display 'TAP' on the 'Insert Image Button'

    Paste the line you copied.

    Then hit OK.

You have to do that as many times as takes to get them posted into the thread...

That is at least how I do it with smugmug.

ross, & ray - thanks for all the effort organizing this. I only wish I could have spent more time with the group. was interesting to see just how the cityX did stock, and hopefully I'll have some real tires ( as well as a few other bits) on it before the next orgainized run

This was a nice stretch despite the fire damage. dr650bc and I got a shower in our rooster tails while going through the deep puddles. Canuck had his GS fishtailing down the steep hill past this heading down to Kelowna.

Hook, line and sinker. I'm sold on Adventure Riding.

In my four seasons of riding and 90,000km that was the best trip I have been on !!!

My deepest appreciation to the organizers Manxman and DR650bc for doing the logistics of the ride. Many thanks to all the proffesionals who took the video and photographic images. Can't wait for the reunion party to take in the grandeur of the trip. Really good to see that the women were part of the ride in this male dominated hobby.

I love working on the skills in motorcycling and this ride was incredible for challenging my abilities.

I could see Manxman was very pleased with the way the ride turned out, or maybe that was the meds he was on.

Please, Please, Pretty Please have a Bc Big Trailie ride #2.

Get a KTM. The WP suspension by itself is worth the price of admission.

A friend of mine went from a 950 to GS1150, because it was more comfy for his wife. After 60,000kms and various issues, he has gone back to a 950. Money is no object to him when it comes to bikes and I think his decision speaks volumes. In fact, he helped sell me on the idea of unloading 2 of my street bikes and getting a 950. I have no regrets.

you said it!!!!! price of admission, service costs, cost of aftermarket parts, and hey, how about comfort levels? bikes are totally subjective - what works for one person is guaranteed NOT to work for someone else, even for the same sort of riding! FWIW, I tried the 950 KTM Adventure - nice bike - unfortunately, they cater for one physiology only, it certainly isnt mine, and cant be modified to suit - each to their own.

Scooter - not that you seemed unhappy with your current wheels, and it never hurts to look around, but always, always TRY the different bikes. if you're happy with your ride, stay with it, if you find something that seems better for YOU , go for it.

How/when/why did y'all end up going through Falkland? I would have dumped the kiddies at the beach and tagged along a bit if I knew you were going to be that close! Next time for sure I will be on the trail with you!
