Baja Designs offers Vehicle Specific Kits for Trucks, Bikes, UTVs, SUVs, and more. These are designed to plug directly into the factory wiring and provide a significant performance increase. Some replace the factory fog lights and others replace headlights.

We don't have any plug and play taillight replacements for that bike

    These two are very popular:

I have some questions about the LP9 pro LED which I'm considering buying to replace my current LED setup.
In the instructions it says don't wire both Low & High beam & on other forums people say not to run both low & high as it can overheat board.
What I'm confused about is where does the 11,000Lumen figure come from if both high & low can't be ran at same time?
There are videos showing high beam switched on and all 9 front leds are one. So does this mean they are running both low & high in a risky way?

Can anyone say how much lux for a pair each pro & racer have? My current leds which I find good for close & far have 1 lux for 1km. And I'm trying to know which LP9 to swing to.
    thanks

High Beam activates the entire light. This includes the same LEDs that fire when Low Beam is on. If you turned on Low Beam when High Beam is already ON, it wouldn't change the output of the light.

I unfortunately don't have the lux reading for these lights. If you're only running one light, I'm a fan of the LP9 Pro. The LP9 Racer might be a little too focused for a single light application. Or are you running two lights?

Thanks for reply. So I don't understand why the warning to not run both low & high beam. Something about damaging the circuit board.
I'm running two, sounds like racer is too tight for me.

Just bought a 2016 KTM 500 EXC with 25hrs on the clock. I had a Squadron Pro in my old KTM 640 LC4 however that was a chore to install along with the dimmer.

Do any of your products have a true plug & play installation with the '16 KTM 500 EXC?

If you install an XL Pro, or XL80, it will be a true plug and play system. Both lights have a built in dimming feature and can be used with the hi/lo harness

Let me know if you'd like links to everything we offer for that bike

Which is the better system? XL Pro or XL 80? Will I also need a dimmer module or is it all built in? Links please additionally.

This is pretty exiting new light design!!! I was bugging you guys about 4 years ago to build a S1, and you finally did. Thank you! Looks like I need to figure out I want to start mounting theses little guys.

That helmet mount will be sweet for us moto guys.

Will there also be a “flush mount” version of the aluminum bezel?

The XL Pro puts out 4,900 Lumens while the XL80 puts out 9,500

Here is the hi/lo harness that plugs inline between the light and factory headlight connector. You use your factory switch, low beam will be the reduced output.

No flush mount planned right now. That could always change down the road if there is enough demand

Are these going to work with a '16 KTM 500 EXC-F? KTM updated their other models in '16 to use different bodywork/tank/ect.

    Big question before ordering:

I have a 2009 KTM 690 (orange frame). I am looking to install the baja design Squadron Sport or Pro light.
The website says the Pro fits the KTM 690 from 2008-2013. The sport does note say this but its the exact same light besides the size of reflectors. I can't find ANY info anywhere online. Has anyone installed a Sport or Pro 2008-2013 light kit on there 2009 ktm 690? I can't find any info on how to install it or anything. Please help!!
