Myself and my brother rode a supported ride from Ensenada to Cabo with 4 other riders plus the lead and sweep rider through a Californian tour company last week. A really good trip with everyone on CRF450X except for the sweep on an XR650R. I was out early due to a broken collarbone but managed to stay on the trip and ride the support van until we arrived in Cabo.

    Video link is below.

    Thanks,

I did. WE used the Chris Haines tour group and they supplied 4 very knowledgeable guides(lead rider, sweep rider, van driver, truck driver) who seemed to be known at each stop. It was a very well planned trip, the second I have done with them and am considering another to finish what I missed this time.

Damn sucks about your collarbone. Looks like you were hauling the mail in those rock sections. Glad you stuck around and made the most out of the adventure, sightseeing and what not. And beers. Don't forget the beers!

For the price of that "Tour" you could buy a bike, spend a couple of weeks in Baja and ride out with the bike, but befor you go to Baja chck out "Borderland Beat" for any recent activity

No doubt it is a lot of cash but for someone that lives 3000km away and wants to ride the whole peninsula this is a way to do. Fully planned and supported for failures and you fly out of Cabo and leave the bikes and trucks behind.

Nice! A couple buddies and I are leaving for the border Friday morning. We have 6 days of riding to Loreto; hanging out for 10 days as my family flies into town, then jump back on the bikes and ride 6 days back to the border. Can't wait to see some of these places in person :-)

Sucks about the broken collar bone, but good on you for sticking it out and enjoying the ride in the support vehicle :thumb

Loreto was great, we ate Domingo's steakhouse in the back eating area that has lots of plants and open air - really good place. Enjoy the ride.

Great pics and updates! I’m so stoked to start riding, we’ll likely be in Tecate this afternoon, not sure if we’ll cross today or wait until tomorrow.

Really like the pictures man, keep ‘em coming
