    WOW what trip
7 days 1,100 miles- No flats, never open my tool bag, never had to work on my bike!! That's a first.
Day 1 Tecate to Camalu- taking baja course and beaches
Day 2 Camalu to Catavina- down the coast to Mud hills and single track
Day 3 Catavina to bay of LA- Cross dry lake to Window rock single track
Day 4 South of Bay of La and back- exploring cut in new trail down blown out wash connecting to Green door trail- Calling it Backdoor to green door and to remote beach.
Day 5 Bay of La to Gonzaga bay- 1st half of 22 day single and thru blow out canyon wash dropping into Punta Final
Day 6 Gonzaga bay to San Felipe- thru Motome wash, Bushwhacked across 10 miles of open desert.
Day 7 San Felipe to Tecate- Was worn out crossed Diablo Dry Lake and Compadre ranch road.
Definitely has a different vibe riding alone and I like it.
I will post More Videos and photos once I catch up on stuff.

    Day 1 Video <div style="position:relative;height:0;padding-bottom:56.25%"><iframe src="" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" style="position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;left:0" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>

This sounds interesting... Can you elaborate on the Backdoor to the Green Door?

We were out exploring and took this wash about 6 miles before the green door and ran into this.
We had to take apart 2 fences to get to here.
Almost gave up, but worked along the hillside clear some rocks.
Had to help each other thru 1 spot

    Thats looks like it.
I use an old phone for GPS and it quit working that morning, So we winged it on navigation.
I have jumped a head to day 4, so I will jump back to day 2 of my ride later and post some Vids and photos.

I've been meaning to take the "Back Door" trail for a while now. It sure looks like more of an established trail (and smoother) on GE.

The problem is the wash you ride through has three concrete walls in it that are 6ft+ vertical drops down, if you could just stay in the wash it would be no problem.

I do a lot of Google earth trail searching throughout the year getting ready for my next ride- cutting out road sections or finding new trails.
It amazes me what you can see on google earth and how wide open and clear it looks, when you get there it's a rocky overgrown trail with some cliff or boulder section. (But thats what makes so fun)
My buddy's roll their eyes when I say- "I found a new trail to try, looks totally doable".
This one is not bad except for getting around the cliff section.

Saying goodbye to the pacific, heading in land to Catavina.
This is where the real Baja starts.
About 250 miles into my my trip, past El Rosario.

Thanks for this great report. I usually don't like music in MC videos but you won me over. Felt like I was riding through the desert, here in my cubicle in NY. Baja has been a dream of mine too, for years. One day I will get there.
