The Johnsons tank liner is probably dry by now. I wont rush it. The stuff looks like CPVC primer and smells like it. I used it in a lawn mower tank that was BAD and it is holding up nicely.

I still want an original seat for an 88GS. Got one any body?

And if decide to buy a smugmug account, let me shamelessly offer my referral code so it'll give me a discount next year or something.

That was a skrunky tranny!! So is the bike on the road or has this been a very slow rebuild?

any idea what parked the bike in the first place especially with such low miles, or had the odo flipped?

The guy just parked it outside. It now has a 950SM front end with Ohlins out back. A total of some 14K on the bike with about 8K on the rebuild. The thing works great on and off road. I have bought a 690ER and don't ride the GS much now. I have acquired a huge pile of parts, to include spare wheels for full SuMo, 17's front and rear. KTM 950 wheel in front is a direct bolt on. Right now it has 21/17 combo. Extra wiring harness, 3 or 4 tanks to include the big one in my avatar. 90 liters Kriega on it now, still have the big boxes. Might sell if I don't get back on it.
