Baseplate (and filter) received, nice job

Oil vent oil hole is not where I'd have drill it, kinda hard to put everything in position, somme pressure on the baseplate may wear the plastic ring on the carb.

However, not sure it could have been put in a different way (filter wall is thick, air trumpets are wide, throttle mecanism on the other side...).

Deception, JC30-80 is too high, seat is against it, making the glove box being raised (Rotweiller Snap Out used here)
Note related to the baseplate but maybe (I did not check) the carbs holes can be moved a little bit to get the filter a bit forward ?
I hope the filter frame will bend instead of the baseplate

I made a firewall, during the first test (half an hour riding) it keep the carbs 25celcius lower than parts being under the protection (vacuum pipe from front carb)

    http://www.ktm950.info/how/Orange Garage/Emissions Equipment/epc/sas_epc_removal.htm

The blanking plates close the openings at the side of the motor, where the EPC/SAS is attached. This system allows some air from the air filter to enter the exahausts in order to enrich the exaust gas with oxygen in order to pass emissions regulations. When the air box is removed, these openings at the side of each cylinder need to close. You could stick a thick bolt inside the ruber hoses, or remove the whole system from the motor sides to the valve at the rear of the air box.
    Hope that helps.

    Hello there,
Base plate costs 45€, blanking plates another 5€ if interested, shipping included.
I need to know if you need the breather hole on your base plate.
Please make sure your mail address is included in your Paypal details.
    Cheers.

Sorry, I got confused. Did you receive your aluminum air filter base today, os a week ago?
Did you find the elastic grommets in my envelop? Why do you need the ITG grommets? I am not sure they produce a diameter that fits the KTM base plate.
    Cheers

I received the plate a week ago, but only yesterday I went home, so I wished to thank you. I have received the two sealing flanges with the plate. I have seen on the Merlin's site the grommets and I wasn't sure they were the same thing.
Thank you for your prompt reply
