    Awesome. Thanks.
It looks like City Nav is on my Surface Pro cause I can see it when the Montana is NOT connected. Now I will try to save Topo 100 to it.

    Thanks for the help.

Hmm. When I do that, I can only see City Nav. Is there a way to select Topo US 100K ?
I would like to have that one installed on my computer too.

Well, I don't use Topo maps but I believe it depends on how you purchased the maps were purchased as downloads then I would expect you should be able to download them to your computer. If the maps were purchased on an SD card then they are registered to the SD card and can only be accessed from the card.

    Ok. Thanks.
Yes, it came with the Montana so it must be on the SD.

If it came on an SD card you will not be able to install the Topo maps to BC. You can, however, see and use them in BC when your GPS is plugged in to the computer.

When you plug your GPS in to BC you should see it in the upper left pane "My Garmin Devices". Under the device name you'll see the media card and all the installed Maps. It may take a minute for it to access but there is a progress bar. Click on the topo map and it will then be visible in BC.

Hopefully this made sense as I'm confused just re-reading it!

    I am from Dover, Ohio.

Ever get up to Amish country? If you have never been to the Warther museum, you should take a ride up there. It is amazing!

Basecamp only has a basic map, you can download the maps from your GPS to it.

Or download the maps directly to your computer through Garmin Express.

Do you have your activity profile set to Motorcycle? Looks like you have it as Direct.

Regarding new base camp. I see there is a new version out for MAC but I have 10.7 OS. My 2007 iMac will not run the fewer OS. It says to be used with new OS so has anyone running older OS tried the new Basecamp version just released??
