I was too lazy to do one. I documented most everything on my instagram account. Happy to help with questions etc.

Good points. Let's ride some time, though not 12 hrs in one day.

For sure - where do you usually go for dirt that does not involve a 12 hour day starting and finishing in SF?

My last dirt ride from home in the East Bay was at least 15 or 16 hours. We rode up to the west side of Mendocino Natl. Forest via Lake Pillsbury then across to the east via 25 or 30 miles of farkin' snow. It was not an awesome ride.

Now that the weather is much warmer, that same ride would be an easy and fun 12 hour ride on either my 990 or my R1200GS., well, except for the 3 hour ride back down Interstate 5.

Well, I was thinking more than one day for a dirt ride. Or something like the Knoxville ride.

Anyone ridden Skaggs is the past couple of weeks? Interested in the east side only, still a racetrack?

I'm riding to the Sierras, Yosemite from the bay area next weekend for a couple days of camping if anyone wants to go let me know.

Looking for some advice. Anyone know if the coast roads are open? Looking for a 2-3 day 990-friendly ride in the coast area. Will be going in a month or so. From what I’m seeing the coast roads are easily accomplished in a day? Is that correct? Any advice is appreciated.

The ones I’ve heard of were the ones in the Bixby Bridge area. But I’m interested in anything people have to say, I’m not too fixated on those roads specifically.

Coast Road is near the Bixby Bridge and ridden in much less than a day.
