I've always used it to mean Tight Single Track, but Twisty can work too. Unless it's this kind of single track

Hi Bruno. If you go, post some photos and report back? I've been curious about that area, too.

Any good place to post it up, in case anyone will see it?

Dang. This is a good thread, also maybe in the West Regional forum, start a new thread. Probably get more exposure there. Hope it's found and returned in good shape. It happens, sometimes.

Holy shit. I had no clue just how "not like a dirt road" Metcalf would be! Went down a bunch with the friends on big ADV bikes too, but learned a bunch and had a great time.
Still in awe of how much that kicked my ass. Good thing these R12s are tanks.

Which trails did you do? A lot of the trails there are not big bike friendly.

My friends started me off with this near vertical climb. No idea what the name was, but crashed a ton up that and had to have my friend ride my bike out.

After that it was just the "easiest" beginner trails, which were more than enough for me.

I would suggest posting the VIN and plate. And if you haven’t, file a police report. Also try posting on BARF. Www.bayarearidersforum.com.

    ****UPDATE ****

The bike I posted stolen above, the Tiger 800, has been recovered! Apparently in working condition, just parked on some random street in San Francisco.

My wife and myself each had a bike stolen by joy-riders and recovered in San Francisco ...
think the SFPD gave us thirty minutes to go pick up her bike in West Portal before
they were going to impound it ... we were like “we’re on our way!” :ricky

my brother spotted my old pos EX500 ex-race bike parked across
the street from where it was stolen (14th St and Folsom) a week later ...
kid who stole it couldn’t figure out the choke and ran the battery
dead after spray-bombing it red. Actually saw him riding it off when he stole it, but the light
was green so I didn’t have a chance to tackle him ... dang, that was 29 years ago,
so no helmet law for the thief to worry about ...

    City living ... :lol3

Glad you got the Tiger back, was rooting for a quick recovery for you! :thumb
