Anyone interested in a second, smaller version on Vancouver Island? Same base camp concept?[/QUOTE] I've been putting on an Island ride for 6 yrs running, but would for sure be into joining in on somebody else's version... Maybe I could then retire mine as it is a lot of work to organize, especially the last one in 2012... Here is a link to the 09: http://www.dualsportbc.com/forums/showthread.php?6089-North-Island-Ride-09 And the 2010: http://www.dualsportbc.com/forums/showthread.php?8262-North-Island-Ride-Pictures
Hell ya! Kissinger lake would be a good spot for doing day trips, not far from youbou for fuel either.
Hi all, I have a spot picked out for the ride next year and will post info up this weekend. Looks like a great area for riding and I'm looking forward to mapping out some new routes to ride. Cheers
Looking forward to seeing your new bikes.............Can I go for a test ride ..............just kidding. How are you two liking them?
We are LOVING them for real...the addition of the ESA is proving to be an asset on the road.... And mine is not hard on the eyes at all...Cheryl got White crash guards installed compliments of AltRider...everything is coming together. Now if Cee Bailey and Barkbuster can get their new version of a shield and hand guards we will be set!
we believe we are too...just living life...in our line of work...we see death and dying almost every week....so, why not just live and appreciate all that we have! Especially riding in BC!
I rode one last year in Baja and loved it, they feel so much like a street bike being so smooth riding. My bike not so smooth but it's been good to me and always gets me home. I'm so use to riding it when I get on another bike all I think about is getting back on mine :huh Test ride. <iframe frameborder="0" scrolling="no" width="425" height="318" src="https://api.smugmug.com/services/embed/1878952392_TbPRz2j?width=425&height=318"></iframe>
the new addition of the ESA rocks on the 800. AS we had the pleasure of riding Triumph Tiger 800XC's last year for 44 days...this bike now compares to the road comfort of the Tigers when the ESA is on comfy mode!
yep..you are right...the Twin is not a smooth as the Triple...but you need to ride this bike on a road like I-5 from the border to Seattle in comfort mode...you will see what I am saying... I could now write a review comparing the '13 F8 to the '12/'13 Tiger
What has the European Space Agency got to do with it? I'd concentrate on the basics more, like improved suspension maybe.
That sure is an auwful purdy bronze color, have not seen one yet and I'll bet looked even better in person. Nice bike. We are saving our pennies so we can buy one of these for my wife. For the suspension needs talk to Alex at Konflict Motorsports. I was talking to him a few months ago and he was showing me the sweet new set up he has made for these bikes fixing the suspension short comings from the factory.
