Hi all, I do have a place picked out but after some thought I'm going to cancel staying at the Resort for 3 days. It would have meant that 6 people share each cabin. So I will start looking again for something for us. Cheers
Sorry Lycan1 due to the response I will come up with something better. I'll have lots of time to think about it while riding this winter.
Hi all, A montage of video of some of my pre-riding. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Y10ozZZ8T5Y" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
After I'm back from my trip I'll be going back Heli-Logging so that means shift work so I'll have a week off at a time and that will give me more time to venture away from home. I'm liking the Shuswap area though. Looks like a great place to ride around there. Cheers

Re: opening scene on this video ... While you were at Horseshoe Canyon on the Bridge River, did you go down the side road to the canyon floor? Seems like a good side leg to explore
Re Horseshoe Canyon: I guess that settles it. We will have to be content to look from a distance. Re next ride: A request to have the start & finish locations nearby so as to drop off luggage again. Got to get more weight off the bike, as my waistline doesn't want to cooperate anymore. The previous setup at Harrison Resort was great for leaving gear for later pick-up, thanks
It is Native land and I did see a sign saying if you asked the Band Office for permission they may let you ride there. I'm hoping to do another circle ride next year but we will have to wait and see if it will work out again? Cheers and Happy Holidays to all.
I more curious, as it seems like a nice place to camp for a couple of days. I have heard that there are gold prospectors in the area & that they need band permission for access. Was just not sure of that exact location, though. Would that be the Bridge River or Lillooet band?
I've did approx the same trace last year on my buell xb12x but I was alone and that's why I rode "over safety" - not too fast and complex. But I'd like to acquire some new friends in BC for light offroad rides together. And vodka, of course
I was flipping through some random magazines at work, and recognized this view right away! It was from "British Columbia Magazine". You can even see the ferry! <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/50049382@N07/8364548305/" title="JS Foster Scan001(1) by anonymousse-ity, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8094/8364548305_a42b79c41c_b.jpg" width="1024" height="668" alt="JS Foster Scan001(1)"></a>
