I'd be more worried about the local Gomers up thar in th' hills, especially if you look like Ned Beatie... "You shore got a purty mouth there boy" :evil

I'm looking forward to this ride - all the pics look great! The riders, now, I'm not so sure about... I'm thinking I better leave my sheepskin butt pad at home les it be mistaken for a live one :lol3 :evil:rofl

I'm just recently getting into this adventure riding, so I'll be the one in the back most of the ride. I'm heading out of here tomorrow morning and will probably go via hwy 6. :freaky

    See ya there!!

:eek1 I don't start work that early, what kind of tour is this anyway. Beer is a miracle beverage that makes it hard to get up in the morning.:freaky :1drink

These early start times will scare away any younger riders

UUghhh.. I don't get up that early when I'm working so the thought of getting up at 6:30 when on vacation sucks. Add to that the copious amounts of Tequila in my CamelBack and early mornings really look bad.

Oh well, at least I know the area and can catch up later in the day.

Mind you, since I'm on an HP2 I guess I can sleep 'till 9:00 and still catch up to the group by noon..

    :hide

I'm going to do my best to catch up with the group for this years ride for the final leg on Sunday. I've got a commitment for Friday night which is a drag that it conflicts...
Don't want to miss the Goat trail. Should be easy going up:rayof

Hope to see you all in Penticton Saturday night...

Hi Bario: New can installed yesterday.. Finally admitted the full Akra system from HPN is pie in the sky... I'll be looking for the Remus headers when my stock pipes are too banged up :whip

Could have saved $400 if I bought the non BMW Akra can out of the States! Had to support JV :loco

Farmerger, Dog Breath, SP2, and his brother No-Name Bob will be arriving in Merritt at 8:00 am. Goat Girl (Go-Girl now) and I will wait for them and catch up to the group on the trail (or a gas station for all you HP2 riders :D ), so if anyone wants to nurse the hangover and start out a wee bit later here's your opportunity. :freaky We should be hitting the road no later than 8:15 am.

Just arrived a little bit ago, and got today's road dust washed off me.

Is there a plan for meeting up for dinner?

    Farmerger -

I'm at the pub, if you see this or speak with someone in the parking lot.

I'm back in Rossland. Only hit a little rain on the way, so the ride home was good. I had such a great time this weekend, and it was really fun to meet and ride with you all.:freakyRoss and Ray, thanks again for putting this together. You guys rock!!

I'll post some pics if I get any good ones. I was a little light on the picture taking this trip, but I think it was pretty well covered without my help.:D

I look forward to re-living the adventure through the ride report! And I can't wait to do this one again next year!!!:clap

I made it home safe and sound at 5:05pm inspite of a deer that wanted to challenge me. Hit rain in Williams Lake and rode out of it around Kersley. It was rather cold coming across from Kelowna to Merritt but other than that it was an uneventful trip. Manage to slow down going into 100 Mile house just in time to avoid a ticket. Thanks again Ray and Ross for all the planning and hardwork to put this ride together. Thanks to Ross and his miss's for the nice lunch that was set out for us. I look forward to next year. I'm having computer/printer issues here so I'm unable to post the few pics I did take. i'll keep trying. Chow for now.

I B Home (7:45 pm), great time had by all, soooo happy to make this ride. Thanks Ross and Ray, see u next year if not before...

Hope, BC, west of Hope = No hope. Visibility was the distance between my face and the face shield at 120k packed into cages all around. :eek1

No need to wash bike - it's clean :lol3

No need to wash clothes - they're clean too

Hope everyone makes it home safe, let's do this again next year :freaky

I'll post some pics and get everything sorted out for the Ride Report tomorrow.

I'm wiped out right now. Too much fun...:D
