Dang man I had lunch ready.
Do it when you can brother......we will be here!!
Robbinsville is a nice town, other than being dry.
We have stayed in 4-5 different places around that area.
Dang man, I'm a day behind schedule. NC has the worst cell service in the union.
Thanks! I can't get pics to load. Even "like" takes a couple of minutes to register.
Really cool place.
The dry county thing mystifies me. Don't want to drink? Cool. Making a law so that no one else can? Nuts.
I'll be headed out tomorrow working my way northwest. The last few days have been a mix of good riding and a little recovery/rest.
Looking forward ti getting caught up here and being able to post some pics.
Looking forward to the pics..BTW there is a "system" brewing in the Gulf, it will be lifting up and going up the SE coastal states by this weekend. Most likely not a big one but it will bring rain, maybe a heavy amount...just a head's up...May I suggest Angry Samoans "Back from Samoa" for the tunes (old school 80's HC)
That is a certainty, dang mountains.
On another note, it was in the 30s last night, do you need to change the title of your thread? After it gets too cold.
Rolled out this morning and it was chilly. Tomorrow should be...interesting.
We'll be in Tellico Plains by tonight. C-c-c-cold start today for this Florida boy!
1st frost of the season this morning.
+1c at this moment. Right on the bubble. It's clear but if it were raining it would almost certainly be snow.
My blood is thinner than water
Hitting the road a bit late but I just couldn't get the kickstand up at 34 degrees Fahrenheit. Stuck or something...
Great ride report man. I am loving it. I to live very vicariously through the Washington winter months. It helps me get through these wet cold winters... Haha.
Curious, did you throw on the Shinko 244's before you left? If so, how are they holding up on your WR? I also have a WR and am ponding the 244's.
Some mud on that shiny bike would lubricate the kickstand...
I'm actually running the Kenda k270. They're similar but have a little more bite offroad and a slightly poorer road manners. I get 6-8 k miles on the front and 4k-9k miles rear depending upon size.
Been pretty dry but how's this?
Pic above made me think of my wife and her 1st ride on her 1985 XLS sportster in Esperanza Texas .
About a few hundred yards from the house on asphalt. She was crashed in the dirt on the side of the road.
All sore and upset.
She complained she was dodging a ditch.
The dirt part had small dip. Not even on asphalt. I don;t how she missed the gentle sloped turn.
I told here.
You steer where you look. You saw a ditch and got nervous. Drove right into the dirt into that gentile dip you call ditch. Newbie front brake kicked in.
Now you are sore and upset.
