Belgium to Nordkapp, along the TET - Or, how I learned to start worrying and hate the chainslider.

    You might not have a problem at that time, but you are on the wrong side of the law. It's a matter of sooner or later.

    I put a 14 instead of the 13 sprocket, and IIRC a 45 in the back, to get quasi the same as the original gearing ratio.
    Together with a new DID chain, and no luggage, has not even scratched the new chainslider yet (over 200km).

    How was it for you to travel alone. Have done it again? I'm planning to go to the Nordkapp from Belgium as well.

    Not a problem at all. Yes, I did more (shorter) trips alone.
    It would of course have been easier to have a second person and a second bike to get to places (spare parts, quick fixes, etc).
    But Sweden is not Siberia, you have villages and people everywhere.

    Just know what the particular problems of your bike is. And you don't need to bring as much stuff as you think you do.

    Thanks, your trip inspired me to do the same this summer. The free KTM mobility service i got with my bike gives me some peace in mind.
