It's true, I've started a new Ride Report and I'm currently on my way to Portugal from Madrid riding through motorcyclists paradise. The mountains West of Madrid are incredible for riding and theres no traffic. Heres a teaser, for more click on the link and check out my newest adventure. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=991904

Of course will be checking out the new report....but need to give this one some stars. This one is as good as it gets bud...thanks for taking the time.

Back in '76 I spent about a year in Europe...mostly Paris. Your comments about some of the cultural differences resonate strongly with me. I totally understand the "not wanting to admit you are American" comment. It is for reasons that Americans don't understand unless they have traveled. I am fortunate in many ways that my life has turned out as it has...but I still feel from time to time that I should have just stayed in Europe. C'est la vie:-)

Just went back through some favorite repots that I had subscribed. This one is still one of mine.

I leave today to begin travels in SA for 8 months (Beginning in Cartagena)

Hope you are doing well. Cheers!

Worthy of a big bump back to the top. Much enjoyed. Here in the Far East of Canada. Merlin
