    Awesome report.!!
    :clap :clap :clap

Thanks for writing it all up even the stuff at the end.
I always forget or run out of time when riding, to slow down a bit and be a tourist.
Seems like your trip ticked all the boxes.
Great blokes, great rides and great sights.

Thank you for a truly magnificent ride report ! It was an honour to ride with you, & yes it WAS HOT ! I am pleased you saw fit to borrow some of my photos, makes me think that maybe I can actually produce some decent images. Definitely I will have to catch up with you on my next visit down under.

    Lots of lies to swap.

Thanks for taking the pics, and I'm looking forward to whatever Jeff might end up producing too. Although I had the technology with me, I didn't take a single pic, which is about my norm as it happens. See you here downunder next time.

About 03:00 this morning I awoke with the name 'Terry' on my consciousness, I think that's @procycle Jeff's brother's name that I couldn't remember!

I maybe should have found some more pictures, the Colorado Rockies are special for sure, and all the passes are still on my wouldn't it be nice to do list, maybe one day before I get too old. Its also interesting how quickly the granite Rockies transition to the sandstone canyon country in Utah, amazing contrast in such a short distance.

    Here's a pile of pictures that I also didn't take; https://www.google.com.au/search?q=...eXkAhV97HMBHQaHBM8Q_AUIESgB&biw=1721&bih=1052

I just realised I need to add a bit more about the beer. LilSteve's Kilt Lifter is good if you like a darker beer and I really enjoyed @TrophyHunter, aka Ken's, peanut butter flavoured milk stout. Not sure who bought along the jalapeno IPA, but it was the only one I didn't finish. Bit like chili chocolate, I like both, but the combos don't work for me.

US beer, at least the non mainstream stuff, is now excellent :drink

The US is an easy place to travel, its mostly familiar due to our (over?) exposure to US culture, and they mostly all speak a version of English. I occasionally got asked to say something more, like 'bewdy bonza mate' or 'strewth', or 'she'll be right' or... you get the idea. My accent enthralled some.

about to get it looked at for a follow-up tomorrow. was fitted with a walking boot and a friend bought me some crutches. chipped off some bone in a couple places. still looking to at least two more weeks recovery.

It's been a bit of cabin fever not being able to drive, but you can get just about anything delivered these days, and Netflix has hours and hours of content. I'm going insane. :-):-):-):hack

Great ride report Steve. The scenery is spectacular.

Just goes to show the ultimate versatility of the DR650 - yours has taken you to the other side of the world without leaving your shed !
