    you can buy a adapter cord which plugs into the back of the unit then you have to wire it to bike power or buy a the adapter for a cig. lighter/power outlet and then put power outlet on the bike.

    I bought the unit last night on Amazon. I've been sitting on the fence for years and figured I need to make a decision. Going with the water-resistant (nothing is water proof just as nothing is fool-proof) will allow me to inner-city engineer something if need be. Gorilla tape and Velcro work wonders if need be.
