today the cx is $10 cheaper than the csx (cx at 189.99 http://www.amazon.com/Garmin-GPSMAP-60Cx-Handheld-Navigator/dp/B000CSWHCY/ref=pd_cp_e_2) I'm looking for the same options in a replacement GPS (hike/mtb/motor/car)...hate to give garmin my money again but looks like they still have a lionshare of the best units available
you can buy a adapter cord which plugs into the back of the unit then you have to wire it to bike power or buy a the adapter for a cig. lighter/power outlet and then put power outlet on the bike. adapter cords are on amazon
Are you stalking me? Thanks for the 411. I bought the unit last night on Amazon. I've been sitting on the fence for years and figured I need to make a decision. Going with the water-resistant (nothing is water proof just as nothing is fool-proof) will allow me to inner-city engineer something if need be. Gorilla tape and Velcro work wonders if need be.
