Kroger supermarkets in our area have a big freezer chest at the front of the store with dry ice slabs, and the gloves to extract them. Other markets might have it also. We've learned that an oxygen supply place in town has it in pellets/cubes and we get a cooler full before hurricanes. Check around.

Restaurant Depot has courtesy box of chemical ice for free with purchase. Also ran across the H K cooler at very cheap prices. Roto-mold construction. Check it out.

Found these at Capt Larry's Seafood market and convenience store. Don't know much about them and I have no interest in the company or Capt. Larry's.

Polar Bear sent me an email saying their 2 for 1 sale has started …….buy 1 cooler at regular price, get identical cooler for free. (I think you have to pay shipping for two??). Enter two coolers into your cart, use coupon "2112" for the discount. Sale ends 11/25/19...……..better hurry!!!!!!!!!

(Follow-up: Has anyone tried using the discount code above...…...does it work????)

Unfortunately, "The Great Leslie" (as I use to refer to her on the phone) has left the building (company).....long ago.

Coleman extreme 70 liter 48.00 ,Modified adjustable rack on bottom keeping food and ice about a half inch off bottom ,aluminum bubble foil insulation about 3/8 of an inch thick , gorilla taped to the insides and the lid, pre cool cooler , pre cool contents, drinks separate, keep covered out of sun, you’ll get six days, Buy 2, 1 gallon square clear containers at Walmart and freeze, One at each end and a frozen litre bottle in the middle , you save $300 on the yeti and don’t have to worry about anybody stealing it, by the way I drilled into the lid to foam insulate it and it was already insulated

Late to the party but a cheap chest freezer from a big box with a small generator would solve your problems and you could keep your road ice cream in there for the trip which by now you have made :lol3 @Snake Oiler
