    Yesterday's picking put us at 100 kilograms of raw beans. Not bad for 2 1/2 year old plants I think. Maybe another 20-30 kilograms to pick as they ripen.

    We planted around 1,100 trees at different stages over the past two years. Probably 1,000 trees have survived this draught year but not all are giving cherries due to the different stages of growth. Next season we will need a better plan how to pick and process the beans.

    Or blow the dust off the bike and go for a ride...
