Smitty, sounds good. Are you comfortable with jeep roads and two track? Looks like lots to explore near Borrego if you know your way around the area. I’m going to start looking into routes.

Thanks Danny. Anything fun near Big Bear? I've seen the videos of the enduro route and that's a bit aggressive for my taste. Wondering if there are nice fire roads, gravel, or manageable trails on a big bike.

1n09 from greenspot rd to angelus oaks (2 hours at a semi slow pace - 30ish miles of dirt) (dumps you out below 38)...There is an option to take Clark's Grade all the way to big bear off the road. That's my go to after work ride...Takes me about 2 hours total door to door from downtown Redlands

Thanks ClimbingFool. Do you happen to have a .gpx track showing the starting point of Clark's Grade?

I don't...I end up getting the free map from the Big Bear Discovery Center each year that has all the forest roads on it. With the 1n09 being closed though, there isn't a southern access point to it that I'm aware of.

Yeah I'm in Highland, this is my go to usually. Roads are in really good shape now, forestry has been putting in work. I believe they're starting this week up by THG, we saw a few huge backhoes on our way down.

You can still get to Clarks via Seven oaks and that will keep you off of 1NO9
