She cleans up pretty good for pictures, but lots of little blems up close.
Not bad considering paint is from ~1987 (high school) :gerg

Well... the original 1.7 badge may be a bit misleading :evil

Current motor is slightly over 2.0 (2056cc) :brow

Took a friend out yesterday to Lytle Creek. Took the fire road up just a little bit before the Ranger Station. Oh my that section is really rutted deep. Took us about an hour to get to the top. The rest of the area was nice. Such great trails out there for newbs.

I haven't been riding in a while. Thought maybe some trails might be closed because of fire dangers.
You didn't come across any closed trails?
    Thx.

Speaking of "around the corner" ... was at the D37 Dual Sport LAB2V planning meeting last night. Seems peeps in the riding community are ready to get out and ride as the paid sign ups are up a lot vs same time last year. Obviously lots of precautions being put into place due to COVID but the D37 crew is ready. Last year the start location in Palmdale was new and will be at the Embassy Suites again. Big changes for the Barstow stop/start however, everything has moved to the Hampton Inn off Lenwood Rd (Barstow Outlet Mall).

Hope to see more ADV folks this year.

Tempting, but I don't think I have enough rear tire left for a desert ride (nor to keep up with you fast guys :pynd)

    Thanks Joel.
I know Hwy2 is still closed (probly for awhile :cry), but I was thinking about Big Pines towards Valyermo. Maybe I don't want to see that area yet, anyhow :waysad

    Hiya Marty :wave

Think I will just shoot for Lytle Creek Chevron ~8am and figure it out from there :cromag
