I have a tail bag that has attachment point but i need some quick attach straps to secure it or a quick attach universal mounting system.

Anyone have any good suggestions other than just bungee cords..

Rok Straps work very well. I use the 1" ones for heavier bags and the 5/8" ones for lighter stuff and holding my riding jacket. Green Chile make some nice straps also.

Rox Straps! Or the Mosko Straps, they can also double up as a tow strap!

Anyone know of decent straps that are not motorcycle specific? I'm looking for straps that might be for sale at stores other than motorcycle stores.

After 35 years of street riding and strapping everything from my leather jacket to 6' step ladders to my motorsickles I can say ROK straps are the bomb.
Don't even wast your time searching or your money. Support your local motorsickle shop or get on Amazon and get yourself some ROK straps.

For this Voile straps might work well. Not sure how your bag mounts. There are knock off brands too
I bought a cheap cargo net and robbed all the plastic S hooks from it to use with my ROK straps in places I want to hook to instead of wrap around

I use 4" bungee balls to attach various things to the bikes, work great!

Rokstraps are good, but IMO the green chile stuff is the next level. I didn't use the Mondo UL (with quick release buckle it may be what you are looking for), just the snake kits.

I use the smaller Rox Straps and really like them. There are 2 sizes and the smaller seam best for moto use. I have even used them to tie a motorcycle down in the back of a Uhaul during emergency breakdowns.

Agreed. I have 4 of the large ones and 2 small. Not knowing anything about them I figured heavy duty was best. I highly underestimated the small ones. They stay on my DR650 wrapped around the rear rack and that's what I'm always using day to day just strapping down extra gear I might have worn to work when it's cold etc.
The large ones only get used on trips. Hmm. Time to get another pair of the smaller ones :-)
