Thanks for the insider news on Beta. Great to see a small company gaining ground so quickly, their passion to be better, to listen to their customers, and to create answers for questiosn we haven't even asked is a sharp contrast to the arrogance KTM has...said as a guy with several KTM products as well as Betas.
These things will sell out sooooo fast.
Any idea if the XT "suspension upgrade option" is real or just a rumor?
@wwguy : Great pics and thank you, even though I'll never ride those trails, for being a caretaker. I'm not a big Kyle fan but he may take some feedback better than we might expect about fragile trails and the need to care for them. He may not know unless he gets the word.
WoW... I really like watching Kyle’s videos and sincerely hope I did not cause him grief by posting that... I’m a big fan of @wwguy too and all of his fantastic pictures. Just thought it was cool that Kyle had been there and want to share it...,
Not sure it matters but Kyle is a huge fan of Idaho trails and says so in quite a few of his videos.... Between the pictures from wwguy and Kyle’s videos I’m planning to visit there next fall. God willing wwguy will get to join us at least one day.
Next Fall?? Was thinking the same thing. Wife's daughter just moved to Boise so I would have an excuse.
I completely understand. Past season I've been allowed to cut some trails on private property and allow a few dirtbikers in by invitation only. After hours and hours of backbreaking labor watching some guy just spin his back tire and destroy your hard work is infuriating.
We would love to have you with us Rob!
I will if I can. My work has me travelling around the country about 1/2 the time, but when I'm home my schedule is usually pretty flexible. The best riding, as shown in some of my most recent photos, is about 2.5 hours drive north of Boise near Stanley ID, so ability to camp is ideal. There are also rural hotels and some rental cabins in the area. Riding starts at 6500' elevation and goes up from there. We've already had snow a couple of times in Stanley over the past couple of weeks, but that was a bit earlier than normal. Early to mid-September is the perfect time to ride that country.
I'm keeping my 2018 until I can get a fuel injected Xtrainer.
Hello Fellow Beta 2T owners.... I have a complete, low hour, spare 300 cylinder w/power valve and piston... Was wondering if any of you with a 250 might wanna trade? Been kicking around the idea of trying a 250 so one cylinder swap and vola I have a 250....
Official media photo's finally out for the smokers if any of you are looking for a new desktop background.
Nice looking bikes!
Awesome that Beta have updated the bike with KYB forks and a counterbalancer. They are listening to their customers!
I find it quite amusing that I've gotten way more info from here and Thumper talk on the new 2020's vs the Beta USA web site.... They still don't show the 2020 XT and say coming in September!
Those are the two most obvious things, but Beta has done a LOT of really great little changes to the bike as well.
Tilting the shock body back so your boot doesn't rub on it
All bodywork comes off with only an 8mm socket
Larger "Foot" on the kickstand to stop it sinking in soft dirt
New display computer
New front fender doesn't bounce around like the old one did
Oil fill tank for injected bikes is much easier to access
Cleaned up wiring
All kinds of little stuff that makes it a much cleaner machine all over. Really nice updates on this toy. Beta keeps upping their game and should be taken very seriously.
Lol. I think it's coming with the Race bikes for end of Oct/Nov..
The pic I posted a few days back of it is from the Beta Media Portal.
Shoot me the details when you get it figured out. HM next month??
Walked into the local Beta dealer to discuss the options of dealing with the coating issues on my ‘18 300RR RE forks and inquire about the arrival of the 2020 models. Somehow I walked out with a new left over 2019 300RR to supplement my ‘18.
First world problems, I guess.
I'm surprised that you didn't wait for a 2020 300RE with CB and KYB forks.
