The Ocotillo ride has been cancelled and we will be meeting in Big Bear instead.

The plan so far is to camp at Hanna Flats and do rides out of there.

    Whos in?

    Opinions?

If the date is too much of a hassle for everyone the weekend before the 18th is good for me too.

Looks like 18th -20th is the date. I plan on going up there sometime next month to check on our cabin and do a little 4 wheelin. I'll scope out the area and see the conditions. We have stickmeat and mystery fuel in the line up(Jake always comes thru). I'll check on availiblity of campsites for that weekend.

Rides will be open and this is an informal event. It will be about getting together and having fun.

Hope to see all of you there.

You'll have more riding options with a DS bike. In my experience, the green sticker stuff from Crab Flats is either very easy or very hard. DS opens up Holcomb Valley and some other options for you.

Riding out of Hanna Flats is street legal only(or w/plate:deal ) the Rangers check for plates at the campground. There are places further back that are more remote but the idea is to ride bikes not drive cars:evil .

I am STILL waiting to hear about room service!

Also, will there be a water truck on site?
I washed my bike and don't want it to get dirty.

I'm thinking of comming and have a question about the scheduling. I think it say's that the check in time is 2pm and check out is 1pm. So are people who are camping (I have a small old motohome) reserving Friday Satuday and Sunday nights or are you just going to ride on Saturday and maybe just Sunday morning since you must be out by 1pm on Sunday, so just reserve Friday and Saturday nights? May 18th-20th set in stone right, unless the whole mountain is on fire since it's going to be really dry up there this year.
Also I take it that there may be a couple of different ride groups, one for normal riders and girlymen* like me, and one for XXXXX black diamond your going to die if you do this group?
You'll have to excuse me as I tend to over think things:D .

*= does not imply that girls can't ride really well, most better then me:lol3
