My family has a little cabin up in Arrowhead about 4 Miles from Pinnacles so no tent for me.

Sidebar question: I was driving around (in the truck) yesterday and I came upon a trail just north of Arrowhead marine. I took it back for a few miles but I was low on gas so I turned around. Has anyone ever been on that trail? where does it come out at? Torrey Rd to Crab Flats loop?

there's a trail behind the lake arrowhead hospital that connects to green valley. one section is called deep creek.

is it still open? what's the difficulty level? bike bike friendly?

    thanks.

looks like a few big bikes on the list.....:clap

i can lead the group from McDs to Pinnacles via pilot truck trail. we have to leave before 8am so we can meet the rest of the pucks around 9AM.

those with less dirt experience....go up via hw 173 which likewise will take you to the Pinnacles staging area.

deep creek is 3n34 i believe. the trails behind the hospital are the "quad trails" we rode in the weeks prior. the deep creek trail can get pretty tuff right past deep creek. i wouldnt take the noobs up it. you will have to go around on the highway to green valley lake. although there is the devils hole crossing, obviosly big bike friendls after witnessing a 990 adventure cross the river and ride up the goat trail afterwards.
