I started a thread on my cross Canada trip last week. A few folks wanted a pic of the bike packed up, seeing as we're riding 2-up.

    The Bumble Beemer (lame huh??)

Where's your passenger going to sit!! How's the beast ride with all that gear? My Dakar completed its first overnighter this weekend. My passenger was crowding me, that made it hard to ride.

Nice pic. I suspect the ride or the riders will not be that clean for quite a while. Look forward to hearing and seeing the trip report.

The gas can is for when he gets to Chicken and the gas station is closed at 7:00 PM. A gallon and a half plus reserve, some good thoughts and prayers should get him to the place by the border or back to Tok.

Or he can set his stealth beemer on fire as a signal beacon. Whatever works, right? :norton

This summer we head to the west coast, back up through the Black hills, to Vermont, and down to Orlando to pack up the bike for shipment to Germany!

Burn it! Burn it all!! Fire!! FIRE!! Go ahead, laugh all you want. But when you wanna torch something or start a bon fire and have no boom juice, well... :ksteve

I am doing more than just a run up to Dawson... Something kinda like the Dualin' Daulton as well, and many evenings of camping will be involved as well. Run up to the Arctic Circle, etc... Sooo, the extra gas is just a good safety thing, IMO... Also, the right side panier is holding the Pelican case filled with $ome expen$ive camera gear, which is why there is more stuff on the outside than on the inside. I can see that if it were just a run to Dawson, and there was no camping invovled, most everything would fit in the Jesses and on the rear rack...

Hey thanks! The GIVI E460s work sweet too.

Ty mentioned it but we haven't talked much about it. He had some plan he was talking about, to buddy up with you and head that way. I think it'd be a blast. Next time I talk to him I'll see what he says you should too.
