Garden Hill Ontario.
Love the old Jawa.Where is that? In Orkney?
Brora, Northern Scotland. It’s on the NC 500 route.
Yup I know where it is. I rode the NC500 in 1974 on a 350 Honda. before anyone thought to name it. Alba Gu Brath.
Good one, Jeff!
Hi, Bairn. Yes, I’ve ridden all the roads in the area before it was named too. I used to drive an artic ( semi?),off the ferry from Orkney, up and down the Eastern side to Inverness and back, overnight. I know that every bump and curve that side like the back of my hand. The West side is arguably more beautiful but any part of the Northern Highlands is well worth the trip.
I have to agree after riding in many different countries the Scottish Highlands are still my favourite place.
Remove the bags and take the same picture.
Maybe next time. It’s a ferry ride and eighty or so miles from here.
Locust Grove, Oklahoma.
Gassin’ up on Broadway (NC).
Coyote Trail, Oklahoma.
Highway Ga. 26 near Montezuma Georgia.
On Route 66, Narcissa, Oklahoma.
The Narcissa D-X Gas Station, on 15050 S. Highway 69 in Ottawa County, Oklahoma, United States, near Miami, Oklahoma, was built in 1934. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003. It was located on the last section of U.S. Route 66 in Oklahoma to be paved, in 1937. When listed it was "the main building in the once thriving village of Narcissa, located south of Miami in Ottawa County on Route 66."
Edit: I was wrong. Further research indicates that this is not the D-X, that it has been torn down. This was an automotive repair garage and is across the street from the former D-X location.
