    Been busy this week.

Visited Corbin to have a custom saddle made for the Frankenbeemer as the seat I had was not going to cut it for 10hr days

    Or cans...glug glug

Just googled it and learned my 1 thing for today. Portable food storage container required in some parks as a foil to bears getting into food. Bit bulky but a good idea.

My '92 KLR loaded , no , make that overloaded. This much weight makes the front end spooky.

They do work. Also raccoon proof. And the full size ones (I use the 2/3 size on the bike) make a good if a bit low seat.

I just returned from Thailand and noticed a Honda Grom as they are called in the states but it had a dual sport look but looked factory not modified are they now making such a thing ? I cannot find one on any site but it looked pretty great.

Packed up and ready to be shipped to Las Vegas, where the plan was to pick it up and ride to Yuma, Arizona to start the CABDR. Thanks to the pandemic, that trip has been cancelled. So now the bike’s being shipped back home for some more local adventures.

hopefully worthy of three pics. This true Adventurer, waiting for the ferry leaving Argentina headed for Chile and Usuia. Guessing he had the kitchen sink in the suitcase. Headlight taped semi in place, well broken turn signal, speedo dial that has rotated upside down, center stand that can barely hold itself up, wait, there's more...

    all sa show pics (718).JPG

Imagine yourself traversing Argentina Rutu 40 on that! no thanks. check the broken mirror.

the pot seen here on the suitcase, was a mistake. After breaking camp earlier in the day he absently place the pot there and it just sat there and didn't fall off. How was that possible?! but it didn't. He was sooo happy that it hadn't fallen off.
Note the wear pattern on the right bike, from riding heeled over into the wind along the "tad breezy" Ruta 40.

Hate to say it but I don't pack but I do adventure. Didn't even take a backpack yesterday and it was just over 800 miles.
