I have a KTM 790 rented for the day next week. I live in Colorado Springs, so I know a number of places down South, but not as many in the Denver area. I have ridden most of the paved roads West of Denver, but I don't know any off highway places. Not looking for anything crazy just a little dirt to feel her out. I just want to test the bike out in as many ways as I can since I have a deposit down on a 2020.

    Thanks for any ideas.

I’d just take that up to Rampart Range Road and some of the off shoots of that. It should be pretty clear, maybe just a few frozen areas in the permashade spots.

    Can you provide some details.

I'm sorta curious about these too. A friend has one and says that it's a great bike.

    Where are you renting?
    How much $$ for a day's rental?
    Etc.

Thanks for the info and have a great test ride!

    I rented from these guys - https://www.coloradomotorcycleadventures.com/

It was around $210 for a single day. I ended up looping back to the Springs, Wood Land Park, did some off road sections at Rainbow fails, and back up to Denver via Deckers.

The Rally mode is awesome and I could really fling the 790 around like a smaller dirt bike.

edit - tried to quote that, but meh not sure what's up.

    Hertz now rents BMWs.

Twistedroad.com and riders-share.com let you rent or rent out private owners bikes.
