it just happened. Usually put 1st gear when I park and should engine turn on with clutch and side stand up.
But it won’t. Engine start at Neutral. On neutral HSC disengage if side stand down. Seems work except engine start on gear with clutch. Any idea?

New bike... have software updated. If not that, then the side stand or clutch lever switch. I'd start w/ software on a new bike.

Start the bike it neutral for & during your class. It's all good. Worry less & ride more!

Clutch micro switch - regular failure point.

10 minute job to change - just expensive :)

there's an electrical connector on some of the 1200's that connects in the left side switch gear (where all your buttons are next to the clutch lever). I just watched a youtube today about how to put new bars on your bike, and the bike wouldn't start in first gear after reassembly. It was a loose connector in the left switchgear. His wonder wheel also was out until he clicked the connector together. Just a hint of where you might want to look ....

Guys. It’s shame but my ignorance.
I usually two finger clutch which is not fully go in. To start engine when gear is in, it needs clutch to be fully in. Lol
But thank you for all the help
