I went Mountain watching today. First truly nice day that I wasn't working in quite some time.
Here they are in the order that I encountered them – Mount Rainier, Mount Adams, Mount Hood, Mount Saint Helens.

I love that part of the Alpine Loop. We spend one day per trip out there making that 120 mile trek and have an epic time every round.
Man I’d love to know the back story on that, and what the house looked like. Can just imagine that was someone’s dream home at one point, and then it wasn’t

Sorry - couldn’t resist. Joking aside, those are great pictures of the Kazakh mountains. We are all richer for having seen the wilderness in other countries than our own. Thanks for posting those gorgeous pics to “transport” us there.
Now that our riding season is in full swing, I had forgotten how much I enjoyed this thread. Easily one of my favourite of the pictures forum section.

How's the road surface on the PT this year?
There is a bunch of new pavement from Brashears down to I-40. Here is a pic of the road surface at the overlook just north of Cass Sat. July 18.
