Near home one fall afternoon, with the setting sun illuminating the rain/snow mix being dumped from a passing cloud. On the Dalton Hwy, a rainbow indicates the oil pipeline equates to a pot of gold. While technically a rainbow, we call them Sundogs as they usually appear in pairs on both sides of the sun. This was taken on a cold mid-January afternoon here in Alaska.

This is a pic of my brother riding the Alcan, July 2011. We were dodging storms at 10:30am and I pulled over to wait for him. As I turned around this is what I saw... AWESOME!!!! Going back July 2013.
