Bought new 1976, sold it 1977 because I decided to go on a bus trip to India. Spent some of the money on a new camera, Canon F1 and 2 lenses.

I had a 93 900RR that I regret selling. Race Tech rebuilt/valved forks, Ontario Moto Tech triple clamps, and an Ohlins shock transformed the handling. I put 50,000 trouble free miles on that bike, and enjoyed every minute of it.

75909_328403083934406_397778758_n.jpg I sold my 1982 Honda CB900F because my then wife complained I didn't need two road bikes, so I kept the 1986 Honda VFR750..it wasn't the best bike, but I had so much fun on it!

I suppose I always regretted selling my '93 Triumph Trophy 1200 to help finance my wedding and moving to Ireland. Had some great trips on that old lady. British racing green with white 5 spoke wheels...must look for a picture...

I have many bikes that I wish I'd never sold. So how about the flip side to this, I finally got a bike I always wanted. Finished racing in the early 80's in Intermediate Open Class and on a YZ465. That year Honda came out with the CR500 and in 06 they made the arguably, most powerful moto-x bike ever to come off their production line. I have always wanted a 1986 CR500, never had the ability to get one and a few weeks ago I bought one. I'm seriously loving this beast even though it scares the hell out of me now. Big difference between being 22 and ripped and 55 and fat.:rofl

I bought this bike in 2009 as a return to motorcycling after an 18 year hiatus to raise kids. I lusted after the 700s when I was in college, and I gave $1,500.00 for this from a local.

It was an '84 with the '86 red, white, and blue tank and plastics. I thought this combination was perfect with the polished accents on the motor and rims. This bike had a mac 4-1 header and an aftermarket chin fairing made by Maier, I believe.

I kept it a year and rode it 8,000 miles, including my first trip to Deals Gap. I'd like to have it back for sure.

Sold the CX650 turbo in 2000 to buy my 1150GS which I still have, and sold the TL1000 to buy my Harley Strret Bob in 2007 and still have that too,but would have loved to be able to have kept them all.[IMG]

I too sold my '82 900F and I still think about it several times a week...really felt like this bike was designed just for me. My '99 VFR's gear driven cams help offset some of my sorrow though... CB900f1982.jpg IMG_20170813_125057_edit.jpg

I still scour Craigslist to see if it pops up. I'd buy it back in a heartbeat!
