I had the factory prototype of the 1100 F until a left hand turner killed it and broke my arms
2000 Excelsior Henderson, they only made 2000 of them in 1999 and 2000 hard to find.
You are not funny, I have my 996 listed. I know it will be posted in this thread within days of sale
Lovable old brute of a bike.
2000 Triumph Sprint RS.
Only bike I ever bought new.
Sold to a guy in Ohio about 10 years ago... I'd like it back please.
After owning almost 100 motorcycles, these are the two I regret selling.
1990 ATK 406CC, Yeah the countershaft brake sucked! But I could ride this thing through the woods like nobody's business!
And this 1975 Kawasaki H1D. It only had a couple thousand miles on it and had never had a wrench to it. Looked like it just came out of the crate. I sold it to build my first house. What a classic.I am a dumbass!
Two real regrets out of 20 bikes bought and sold.......But they're big regrets!
A good companion for 15 years.
1977 MZ TS250
Sold my 2003 K1200gt when I retired. Within a few weeks, I knew I'd made a terrible mistake.
It was low miles (16k) and set up just as I wanted it. Been on the lookout for another one ever since. Lots of high-milers around, but clean low-mile ones are getting hard to come by.
Loved my Valkyrie. Had old fashioned glass packs installed---sounded like a muscle car when you got on it. Circa 2001
Just sold one of my 1997 1100 Sports. This bike is still parked in the stable until I take her to the shipping terminal next week, and then she will be off to Colorado....... I'm going to miss this bike!
The only one I really regret to this day was the used 1987 BMW R65 I bought in 2004. Even though I sold it for more than I paid it was still less than $3,000! For that price I shoulda kept it forever.
That 1987 in 2005 looked like an antique. But my 2001 R1150GS in 2018 looked new.
Day dreaming about riding this one again,... never should have sold it!
Terrible brakes, underpowered and limited aftermarket accessories, but I miss it.
