This machine passed me on the Tok Cutoff a few days ago when I'd stopped for a photo opportunity. I saw it again at Fast Eddy's that evening. Sorry for the crappy iPhone photo:
Too cool, did you happen to see the license plate, as in how far had it come?
I bought this Yamaha GTS 1000 new in the fall of 1993.
Put 96,000 miles on it without any major repairs...….
Sold it last year to a friend in our GTS Club as I was not riding it and it seemed a shame to let it just sit.
He gave it a "going over" and is riding it.
Had a lot of fun on that machine and saw a lot of the country.
I don't recognize the plate but I'd guess somewhere in Europe.
Looks like its from Holland.

Antique French race bike- can't recall the make of the bike but it was raced by a certain guy (too long ago to recall details)- the seller had all this documentation on the racing and history of the bike. It was all pretty fascinating, and a very cool little bike!
