As an additional free service at the Pterodactyl Bivouac we will offer a Pirate Conversion Service for those of you heading to Sturgis after the rally. Services will include, but are not limited to: adding fringe to various parts of bike; 3 foot long handlebar tassels; chrome spray painting of any part of your bike; muffler removal; classes on riding in formations with 3 foot separation; tattooing; hair weaves to create rat-tails; conversion of your riding jacket to a vest, your riding pants to shorts and your boots to flip-flops; conversion of your helmet to a potted plant holder; and much, much more.

Oh, My God, I could be so politically incorrect but I will just say, live life with something on your head, do not attempt that feat with a bald head, Griz could will it up there and it would be done! The K bike will be a test but it is the only way I will get close to Sturgeons!
How much fun are we going to have KHuddy!

Ok, so I gotta just get this out there and hope that these pterodactyls don't bite.. Most of the lingo that is used on this forum is, well, let's just say I don't quite understand it...but I will be taking my bike to the lower 48 next summer, exactly when I'm not yet sure but it sounds like a good time to go yo a ralley. Ain't done that before...I probably have a lot of questions, but I can't think of any right now...guess I should just bring some money and a tent and a sleeping bag, huh?

That's about all you'll need Steve. You'll be able to read more about it on the BMWMOA website starting next late winter or early spring (they are still dealing with this year's rally now). You can also ask questions here. You'll get the answers you need; sometimes with a liberal dose of smarta$$ added.

Based on the 2010 Redmond show, uh rally, you'll need: lots of shade and chairs; flags and/or a banners; grills and chefs; and of course, a bar! Kevin, do you know if they'll have buses going through the rally?

If I can, I'll be there.
