Damn...Didja' scratch the paint any? Underneath all that yellow does it look like a regular GS??
Beautiful Bike, BTW, chosen in the gnarliest of colors.
Maybe some H+B bars for further adventures??
Slammed a Givi screen on mine today in preparation for next Saturday's scheduled Saddle Sore-also raised the front of the saddle 8-9 mm experimenting with more comfortable riding positions..
I dunno, man - sounds like that Pig was purty blind to me...
speaking of not being able to trust maps...
I am fricken fed up w/ county roads that suddenly go "private" for a mile in the middle. WTF
I had to turn around on county G8 under the scrutiny of two 20yr old carrying 22's this weekend as I went to Monteray.
I got the following description of G8:
1 Watsonville Road from Route 152 in Gilroy to Uvas Road (FAS, 3.62 mi)
2 Uvas Road from Watsonville Road to Casa Loma Road (9.76 mi)
3 Mc Kean Road from Casa Loma Road to the San Jose city limits (0.72 mi)
4 Mc Kean Road in San Jose from the San Jose city limits to Bailey Avenue (1.67 mi)
5 Mc Kean Road in San Jose from Bailey Avenue to Calero Dam (FAS, 1.18 mi)
6 Mc Kean Road from Calero Dam to Harry Road (FAS, 3.00 mi)
7 Mc Kean Road in San Jose from Harry Road to Almaden Road (FAS, 0.37 mi)
8 Almaden Road from Mc Kean Road to Barnes Lane (FAU, 0.25 mi)
9 Almaden Road in San Jose from Barnes Lane to Almaden Expressway (FAU, 0.35 mi)
10 Almaden Expressway in San Jose (FAU, 7.97 mi)
11 Almaden Road in San Jose from Almaden Expressway to Alma Street (FAU, 0.19 mi)
12 Alma Street from Almaden Road to Route 82 (FAU, 0.30 mi)
Is this the road you got 22'd off?
At which location?
This route was defined in 1962 and is supposed to be open to the public.
Call the County DPW.
