So I'm a pretty big fan of the C600 Sport. I don't think I'll buy one right away but definitely within the next couple of years it'll be time to upgrade the TMAX. I do expect it will be more expensive than the TMAX, but then again it's a BMW so what do you really expect?

    I expect something between a Burgman 650 ($9,900) and a BMW F 800 ST ($12,550).

I expect between$7,900 and 8,900, definitely less than $9,900.00. for the Beemer Scooters.

FWIW I was at the presentation of the new Tmax in downtown Milan last Monday night, and at the presentation of the two BMW superscoots on Tuesday morning. I've sat on all three of them.

"I expect between$7,900 and 8,900, definitely less than $9,900.00. for the Beemer Scooters."

I'll be amazed if they are as cheap as that, but then I'm constantly amazed by how cheaply you buggers can buy all motorcycles and scooters. Over here in dear old Blighty, both the old Tmax and the old Burger King cost more than 8,000 POUNDS STERLING. That's over $12,000. At Milan, the new Tmax had a posted price on the Yamaha stand of more than€10,000 for the basic version; for ABS you'd have to pay €500 more. And the new 530cc Tmax still only has 46bhp, compared to the 60bhp of both the new (647cc) Beemers and the 75bhp of the Aprilia 850 V-twin superduperscoot.

I'm guessing the Sport to come in to the states at about 9K. Then if it is successful the price will jump over 10K for the second year. It is the first scoot I've seen to make me think about finally getting rid of my 97 Honda Pacific Coast, depending on the handling.

With the benefit of a few years of progress and its bike-like design, I would expect this scooter to match or beat your PC's handling. I doubt it will match its reliability though, especially early in its production run... this would be my main concern.

You are right bikes are cheap here , but we have a totally different tax system here . A lot of your higher prices are I think are due to your VAT ? If I remember correctly there was a girl on the Tmax thread from Russia , who paid $15,000 U.S. for her used Tmax in Russia . I bought a new 2009 Tmax here (U.S.) 2 years ago for $6,450 out the door . All that said our government has been talking about a national sales tax , which is a VAT for all practical purposes . My best guess is it won't be long and we too will have a VAT , or some thing very close to it .

I would guess you're right on at $12,500 (U.S.) , maybe even a little more ? I don't see it selling very well here in the U.S. dealers are sitting on left over Tmax , Silverwings and DN-01's that they can't sell at huge discounts . So how are they going to sell scooters for $12,500 ?

I predict 10 grand (educated guess)
    11 recalls in year 1.
A good engine with some timing chain problems and oil leaks.
fuel injectors and fuel pump that can't handle alcohol.
    very good handling.
and YES, it is defiantly coming to the USA, in the spring, though I predict it will be 2 months late due to a problem sourcing wheels or some such.

All guesses, will check back in a year and see if I got it all right lol

the GT will be priced within 1000 of a Burgman 650 Executive here in the states.

the Sport will be 500-750 less than the GT

    just my professional guess

Per BMW sales procedure, there won't be any on the sales floor
    without an "option" package.
    $15K out the door.
Then the DN-01 owners won't feel so stupid.
