Looks like nobody's looking for a lil GS, at least in the northeast, this spring.
What do you mean?
I posted mine up For Sale and there has been very little interest. I thought with the price of new 2021 models and the lack of 2020s a barely used 2019 would go fast.
I guess that the updates to the 2021 model are enough to drive down the desirability of the earlier models.
- Full LED lighting, including the headlight.
- Ride by Wire Throttle including the anti-stall programing in the ECU.
- Slipper Clutch.
- Adjustable levers.
(and apparently it got porked up by an additional 12 pounds versus the original specs for the 2018 model year)
Wow, a 12lb increase is huge, maybe they made the bars out of real steel instead of cheese alloy.
2018 spec is/was 374 pounds curb weight.
2021 spec is now 386 pounds curb weight.
Did you ever go with the Monsoon 3 Panniers w/o a rack?
No, I went with their Blizzard L bags. It’s been a long time, but if I recall correctly, the Monsoon bags were too big to fit over the exhaust pipe.
Just ordered some XL Blizzards so I will let everyone know how they fit. I think they will still clear the exhaust but we will see.
Awesome! Did you order from https://www.enduristan-usa.com/ ?
No they popped in-stock on Revzilla. Got notice they already shipped today..
Have anyone made a list of tools needed for the G310GS if stranded in the woods?
I am thinking doing a two split kit:
1) Small essential kit to fit under the seat, with everything needed for the shorter rides.
2) Additional kit to bring for longer rides
Any tips on what tools to buy to get more than one use out of a tool? For example the Motion Pro tyre irons.
I just brought home my new 2021 310GS. It seems BMW have removed the ABS button. Does anyone know of some other way to deactivate the ABS?
Does the 2021 come with Knobbies?
Still trying to sell this beauty
hey everyone. I bought a 2021 310 GS and just under 60 miles ridden i dropped it as I was dismounting on a slope and broke my brake lever. I saw an OEM brake lever cost ~$90 and was wondering if anyone has had success using an aftermarket brake lever OR if the 2020 and under brake lever is compatible? (It's different part numbers on the bmw parts website BUT the diagrams look identical)
I ALSO want to buy a handlebar protector so next time i have a tip over I can protect it.
No. I had the knobbies installed before I took delivery.
Looks like you relocated the turn signals for your install. Did you fab or buy a bracket?
FYI - removing fuse #4 for ABS also deactivates speedometer and odometer. My guess is that everything uses the same wheel speed sensor.
No, the turn signal relocation was part of the “tail tidy” swap I did. I got mine from Rally Raid.
