You only need another ~1.5 gallons to have a minimum 200 mile range. The Touratech tank requires additional suspension work, plus it makes you barn door wide so there goes your fuel economy.

Hey gang, I'm going to be selling my xMoto soon. Before I post it proper in the flea market, wanted to test the waters here.

    2007
    20k miles
I built the kit to run 18/21 CRF dirt wheels including fork guards and hi-mount fender. I have the stock cast wheels with shinkos mounted now.
    Custom skid plate, well used
1.75 rotopax mounted to rear rack
Seat and plastics good except a sticker pulled paint off right side radiator shroud
    Gutted muffler
    Booster plug
Custom 3d printed PLA turn signal mounts with LEDs
I fought the IAC valve issue for a while, even bought a genuine BMW part with no success. I fabbed a sort of threaded-needle-jet-valve in place of the solenoid valve. It let's me tune for elevation, just makes very cold starts need some throttle until warm.

My S.O. had a pretty bad car accident so we can use the money and I wont be riding pavement for bit. I'm thinking $4500 with both wheel sets. Any feedback is appreciated. And if you cant wait to send a briefcase full of cash, drop me a PM. I'm in Eugene OR.

@WilsoDRZ Sorry to hear the reason why you're selling it :(
You did a great job on the conversion! Someone is going to enjoy two bikes for the price of one :thumb

Anyone in the market for stock turn signals? I've got the right and left rear turn signals. Let me know via PM. I'll be posting in the flea market soon.

Some winter reading if you want. I finally did a ride report on ADV. Day tripping section, title is:,
7 years of Scary stuff in CA. and AZ

Actually it will end up being 12 years worth of photos over time.

Thanks for sharing eagle. Looks awesome and wouldn't mind riding some of that myself in the future.

    Peace

I will be showing Moab rides later in the report, and Moab is great, but after so much Red Rock, I had to move on.
I think Arizona is awesome from top to bottom.

Has anyone actually installed a front caliper from an F650 on their X and does it work? I searched and saw a few mentions that the F650 brake caliper is the same brembo part as the X. But couldn't see anything about anyone actually installing it. I busted up my front caliper over the weekend on a ride. It's still functioning but having a chunk busted off the corner worries me. I ask because F650 calipers are around $30-40. X on ebay is $100+.

The Caliper part No will be different between GS & X due color & caliper hanger, get the stamped Brembo part numbers from a caliper & the hanger (a Brembo Part) then they can be confirmed using Brembo documentation we have on file, but it is pretty much 100% they are the same for xChallenge/xCountry, xMoto is different though, you would need to reuse the existing X caliper hanger on the GS caliper, easy to do

These calipers are also used on the KTM 950

Hey guys, just stopped for fuel, put it in gear and the front sprocket is just spinning. Tried to loosen the front sprocket bolt but of course it won't loosen. Stripped sprocket I hope?

When I try to loosen the bolt, it just turns, but the sprocket doesn't. Even in gear, so I don't think it's the sprocket. Thats why I was asking how can i get the sprocket off. There's no way to loosen the bolt.
