Perfect excuse to upgrade to double-takes.

If you have hand guards I went to this set up last year works great never moved takes a hit in a fall. 20191209_095021.jpg 20191209_095047.jpg
The trick to double take mirrors is to put shrink wrap on the ball parts.

On this next go around I think I will try the Rottrweller set up....

Well, I tend to stay at the "if it isn't broke, don't try and fix it" end of things. Especially if it saves me spending fuel money !

Hi, I have seen this topic on other boards, but with no solution. Has anyone found a replacement for the fuel pressure regulator (FPR) in the petrol tank of the g650x, it looks like the part number is a NH6EG. any help would be nice.

Try Quantum Fuel Systems www.hiflowfuel.com. They don't list one for the X but it looks similar to a KTM regulator. Would need to cross reference the pressure rate.

My FPR looked all rusted too. I was able to strip everything clean and re-use it. Still working great. :thumb

You need a 3.5 Bar FPR but like @andrewgore did I just cleaned mine I did not like the fuel pump mod so I bought the secondhand one, and then another one, and finally a good one measured at 3.7 bar, but the Fuel pressure kit was a cheap eBay variant so don't know how accurate it was

Closest is this one but I would measure just to confirm the length of the shoulder as this is the only dimension I did not measure in my post https://advrider.com/f/threads/bmw-g650x-challenge-thread-index.335086/page-770#post-33899986

Some others to consider Honda CB500 but the shoulder at the top which I did not measure looks a bit long

Hey all. I've been out of the loop a while. I think I was 30 pages behind. Just before the hiatus a gentleman had fabricated and was selling an exhaust shroud for the small gap in the original. Do you have any left by chance?

Hey guys, probably a dumb question. I found a 650 rotax replacement engine on eBay. It says for a 09 and up, will it work on my 07 xchallenge? I thought these engines were all the same. Thanks
