You are absolutely correct. I'm sorry for not mentioning that.

I'd really like to say thanks to both snooker and Wayne C . I've benefitted from both their sites and from everyone on this grand group of people. I can only hope that we keep up the community for years to come.

One Squadron XL High-speed spot for high beam 3.150 lumens, one SAE sport wide corning 2.480 lumens for low.

The S2 sport driving combo 1.130 lumens will have an amber spot lens on it.

Will have a dimmer set up.

I have the two squadron pro on the X but went with the XL Pro for the husky. The X definitely has more long distance but the XL has more usable light for most occasions in my opinion. I like the new S2 how about a review of them after you have them a while

One might guess that the engineers that set the specs low on all of the models, and lowest on the G650X since it has the smallest fan and the least capacity to cool the motor quickly. If the point of damage to the engine is 155c (just to pick a number) then the warning light coming on earlier on the would warn the rider and allow more time to stop and let the bike cool.

As an aside, I've completely drained the battery riding in Southern California sand with the lights on and the fan running. The only time I've ever seen the warning light come on was riding it out of some remote Texas brush after hitting a tree. I wonder how consistent the light are.

Anyone have a part number on these 8mm bolts that tighten the spindle?

They're just a M6-1.0 bolt. Can be replaced with a socket head bolt or reduced head (JIS standard?) metric bolt from Lowes. Some UJM dealers that stock hardware should have also. Should be at least 8.8 grade and I would stay with a zinc plated bolt, not SS to minimize corrosion.

    Here's the McMaster link https://www.mcmaster.com/95735a231. $8 for a pack of 50.

Progress made on the light mounts and the tower mounts are done at the machine shop.

Should start putting everything back together next weekend.

That the module 60 from Hella ? Got one of of those as my headlight and it's a nice (EU legal) one !
High beam is a Vision-X Optimus Halo. Don't like the fact that my main beam goes off when the high beam comes on.
You lose a lot of spread close to the bike.

What if you run a hot from the high with a diode to the low beam. Wouldn't that then power both while the high is on
