Could be a loose connector on the back of the dash, could be some condensation in the dash, could be a loose ABS sensor/wire on the rear wheel.

Vmware fusion; I run reprom on my 11" air and there's no noticeable lag.

I hate the reprom manual. Every time I have to do any kind of maintenance I am forced to use that archaic software, and it is a PITA. Wish they had just put it all into a PDF or some other reasonable document format.

Yea, there are options...expensive ones. I'd shell out 90 or so for VMware (or equivalent software) then I'd need to do the yearly subscription of the new windows). Hopefully no one misunderstands me, but I can currently (and hope to continue) rely on the generosity and knowledge of this forum for small things like torque values instead of giving $$$ to micrsoft. Plus, if anyone is ever in St. L...you know I'll buy them a beer

@keepshoveling I definitely owe you a few drinks. You've bailed me out enough times.
I'd wait until I get to Seattle...you're within striking distance of the arctic circle at that point #G650xArticCircleRalley

Hey...way off topic....What is up with weather this week?...Nothing but F*ing rain. I have 6 days off & I'm restricted by rain on the North, West, East, and South. I need some therapeutic riding after a bad break up.

    That is beautiful!
I need details... What front fairing / lightbulbs are those. I got to have that in my life. Still looks like the stock mudguard...?

I've got 2 very nice xchallenge items for sale if anyone is interested.

    1. Britannia Lynx R Fairing, brand new and never mounted (bike doesn't fit in my new van if I have a fairing like this). I can return it, but it's a bargain at 600USD+shipping with HID/LED lighting, all mounting and instructions. I can have it in California in a month.

    2. EMIG RACING full steering damper with triple tree and bar risers. This is lightly used on another friends bike (he bought new, then sold after 1000-1500 miles only on the EMIG), sold to me but never used. New these are $800, but I'd be happy for $450 plus shipping

Let me know if anyone is interested or PM me

Changed out my battery yesterday, found that the PO had not replaced or had any battery retainer strap, it was just pushed in place. Has anyone come up with their own battery retainer system, strap, etc. Any ideas would be appreciated. Otherwise I will just get the hose and o-ring original designed. Also, any pictures would be great. Thanks.

This is the setup that is on my bike, bought it that way, and it performs great. Highly recommended

+1 I have this on my bike also. Love the ease of install especially with no welding to mount it. Is a breeze to use and definately is a big plus.

PM sent about emig racing. I'm like :*sip* about international postage.....

    ----

These dash questions reminds me something too!

Anybody has one of the tripmeters A or B sporadically reset to zero?
I can never catch it because it happens when they B is not active on the screen....
Mind you, I always use tripmeter A for fuel monitoring and it stays as it should. Only the B resets.

You can put a strap around it and the "battery box".
The original O-ring set up is a waste of time and money. As soon as your bike drops reasonably hard on its right side, the battery will move and crack the outer plastic.
