    I aint saying nothing
    Just how it is.
I think its more about your relationship with your local dealer that counts.

Come on Kokopelli your a life member of the BMWee community.

As loyal as the kiwi market may be, I think as a market, we just ain't big enough to worry about. NZ as a trophy destination is all they probably need.

Yes but there is no NZ team to qualify for, and I think you have to be resident in the countries that do qualify for for teams.

It just annoys me that as a life long GS rider, I can't even have a go at qualifying...:dirtdog

This is not a BMW Safari like used to be in NZ where you turn up on your own bike.
I think all the bikes are supplied by BMWee.
I have watched the Mongolian one on YouTube
The people who are going to be accepted are the ones with the biggest public profile so they get as much exposure they can from the event.
    Should send Burchy along.
Anyway you'll just have to enjoy the rest of NZ that they will never see.
    And Enjoy

Found this for the 2019 Trophy in UK. Looks like you need to book a trip to Aussie and become a citizen.

    https://www.offroadskills.com/2019-gs-trophy-uk-regulations

Event participants must bring the following documentation to the event:

    1. 1) Their UK Driving Licence photocard.
    2. Customers who are not residents of the UK and wish to participate must hold a full and valid motorcycle driving licence, which is legally valid for riding a motorcycle in the UK.
    3. 2) A current British Passport
    4. 3) A V5 document providing proof of ownership of a BMW motorcycle (colour photocopies are acceptable)
    5. 4) An insurance cover note for the BMW motorcycle
It just annoys me that as a life long GS rider, I can't even have a go at qualifying...:dirtdog

There is a 'follow the tour' ride post the event which is open to anyone with a GS. So you can ride the course .......just not while the event is on :D
