    Are you sure??????

Everyone can get involved??????????? and be given a 790R to ride. I don't think so.

For those wishing to participate in the Ultimate Race Qualification, certain requirements must be met, which have been set across all participating countries. » V-Twin KTM Adventure models only (950, 990, 1090, 1190, 1290) and Riders must own the motorcycle they are riding (cannot be on a borrowed or hired bike). » Current Motorcycling Australia License Note . . . a one-day MA license will be available for the qualification event, however the winners must have a valid MA license to participate at Merzouga.

KTM is now proud to announce the hardest and most fearless 12 riders of the KTM ADVENTURE community from around the world who have qualified for this epic final battle, which takes place from March 31 to April 5.

did you even watch the video :fpalm

They eluded that once the qualifiers had been selected KTM would supply 790's for the final :fpalm:fpalm

The last two blokes selected are Kiwis from the recent Northland KTM rally :fpalm:fpalm:fpalm

We haven't got to March 31 yet so in all probability it hasn't happened yet :fpalm:fpalm:fpalm:fpalm

It cant have been last year as the 790 hadn't been released then :fpalm:fpalm:fpalm:fpalm:fpalm

Nah, the qualifier was at the KTM Adventure rally up north. A mate competed and finished very well up the ranks, but not quite there...

    Nah Heart Attack !!!!!!!!!!!

My point is. This thread was about being excluded from the GS Trophy event because there was no NZ Team even though the event was being held in NZ.

    Some people feel that SUX.

So now introduced is a KTM event that is the bee’s knees??????

Scenario: I’ve been a loyal KTM owner for years and now I own the ultimate KTM ADV bike for me a 690 I see this event advertised and want to enter.

I track down the entry form and find that I can only enter if I own a 950cc bike or larger.

Wow I’m gutted I’ve been excluded along with about the other 70% of KTM owners in NZ

Maybe the KTM event should have been put on a separate thread and I would have just ignored it.

Lets face it they are just big brand advertisements and we all watch all the adds right.

As for final drive failures everyone in the world that happens is on this forum.

If every chain and sprockets change / disaster in the world was written up you would need to have a separate forum for it.
