I have been following the info on the rally and your kind camping offer for a while and finally got the time off. If you have room for two more for the weekend (Thurs.-Sat.) let me know. Me and David are leaving out Thursday morning after work from Chattanooga.

If you have room, let me know, and if there is anything that we can bring.....Let me know.

    Thanks

just a heads up, watch out for the cops (especially in the 55mph zone of I26 through johnson city). i've already seen 2 bmw motos pulled over today on my commute. looks like they're doing some profiling.

Rolling out tomorrow and stopping over to visit some family in Macon, GA Wed nite. Ride some twisties up to the Rally and register/check in at the Rally site Thursday afternoon.

Rick, I may try to swing over your way before the Friday evening meet-up at the Beer Garden, if not then I'll come and/or shift camp over Saturday to see some familiar faces. Trying to set an agenda for something like this doesn't work for me - it'll be play by ear day to day. Hhmmm, wonder if I could work one more cliche into that sentence?

Your gracious hospitality is much appreciated. :clap

So can one just show up to this thing if you don't care about a place to stay, t-shirt, etc? I ask, because while currently BMW-less, I am about 10-minutes away at the moment, and will likely be around this weekend. I just want to know if someone is going to hit me up at the gate wanting a ticket or something.

The MOA is a huge event with lots of things going on. The registration is located at the Gray Elementary School. (Turn off Hwy 75 at the Dairy Queen and you'll see the signs.) You'll need an wristband to get onto the rally grounds ($45 for non-MOA members) but it's good for the whole weekend.

They don't mind if you don't own a BMW. I ride a Wee and they have me volunteering today thru Friday.
