Back home, and just what BMWKurt said.

It's was good to see some old friends, make some new ones, and see all of the bikes.

The rally site was a good one, and the weather was good overall.

My 10 minute ride home from the MOA ended up a trip to the hospital. I got tagged by a yellowjacket (in the boob) and started swelling all the way up to my eyeballs. After the Benadryl didn't help I finally drove to the ER and got a nice shot of steroids. So instead of heading up the Blue Ridge today...I'm going to take a nap.

It was good seeing all YFF this weekend.:beer

Good to see ya, I made it all the way back to Marion, NC before my front brake decided to lock up, master cylinder not releasing. Bled it off and drove the rest of the way home with back brake only.

Just rolled in at home, after spending Saturday night at Bloochdog's place. Thanks for everything, Rick, I had a blast... at least the parts I can still remember. :D

It was great to put some faces together with some names, of course. Both at your place and at the beer tent. Good times.

If you bought beer Saturday night, you probably met one of us, but you may not remember it depending on how much you drank :freaky

My son Jason and I decided to stay at the rally to avoid problems to and from. But we had a blast as it was our first BMW rally. We were at the beer garden at 8pm on Friday and stayed until midnight. I met several interesting people but I didn't find anyone from the ADV group on the camp list. I had so much fun it's a wonder I got my tent right side up! Thanks Rick for the invite anyway. Mighty hospitable of you.

A few pictures taken along the way, including some from Rick's place.

I have a few more to upload, so this gallery will expand just a bit over the next day or three.
