Let me know if you want to come stay up at the cabin .My place is five miles from the state line on hwy 208 in NC
I made roundels using aviation snips, an empty PBR can, a couple Sharpies and J-B Weld so I decided to try them out at the CarolinasBMWMOA Rally last weekend. I had a blast. Nice folks, BTW.
That is great, but you didn't need to. BMW riders like bikes! I say guy pull into the Dells Rally one year on Honda with 2 coffe cans sticking out the sides with plugs and plug wires! That was also too funny.
The MOA moves the location each year. IIRC, they've now split the country into 4 regions (used to be 3) and will rotate thru them. This year the rally was in Gillette, WY. A few years ago it was in ID and then Boseman, MT. Just be patient, or ask to join the selection committee.
The way to a man's heart is through his final drive, but carrying a ring with you might scare some guys off.
I will be vending, but would love to ride over after work. It's good to get around real people at a rally. Can only take the wine and cheese crowd in short spurts.
chairman and this guy I think this is going to fly so stay tuned . My place is located at 4860 nchwy 208 marshall nc. Thats the mailing addy cabin is at top of mountain
I should be there. Nobody cares what you ride. I'm not sure if I'll take the riceburner or the K75. The old K confuses BMW people, it's one of those that doesn't break, so they don't know what to think of it.... "Is that an airhead?" Ryan
Only 630 miles from the great north east, 11 hrs on the airhead, no problem. 5 days in the sidecar, but at least the dog will keep me going.
