That's at wallerawang? Curious choice of venue if so, I wonder what the logic is?

I've driven past the place way too many times but I I didn't think it had much capacity for visitors?

Yes it is, I thought it was an odd choice also but that's where it is, there are 2 pubs and 2 or more motels and the camping area at the Lake is quite large, never been there myself so should be interesting.

There's a couple of planned rides on Saturday, and Sunday too I think, the Small Arms Factory is always worth a visit also the Gun emplacements up the top of Scenic Hill on the Bells Line.

I did consider that rally but steered away simply cause of the venue.

Shall be curious indeed to see how this pans out. I guess it's only a bit over an hour to a Mudgee, Bathurst is over the hill etc, Lithgow as you say.

Maybe they get far more control over the venue and have a captive audience for lack of local choice.

Then again guess I need to visit wallerawang again and see what is there these days.

Whats in a days ride from Wallerawang?

GS - Sunny Corner, Hill End, Glen Davis, Oberon ...
Road bikes - Bathurst, Jenolan Caves,.. Mudgee, Bylong .. a long run through there and back through Putty and Bells Line ..

There area fair few runs that can be had from Wallerawang.
I have no idea what level of Accommodation is avalible there, possibly more to chose from down the road at Lithgow?
